       Lekaneleo is a genus of thylacoleonid marsupial that lived in Australia during the Miocene period.‭ ‬Lekaneleo is a relative of the better known Thylacoleo,‭ ‬and like Thylacoleo,‭ ‬Lekaneleo would have been a powerful predator.
