Known locations: Madagascar-‭ ‬Middle Sakamena Formation.
Time period: Olenekian/early Anisian of the Triassic.
Fossil representation: Mostly complete juvenile.

       Lasasaurus was a genus of procolophonid parareptile‭ (‬the type genus of the group being Procolophon‭) ‬that live in Madagascar during the early Triassic.
