Named By: Y.‭ ‬Zhang and Z.‭ ‬Yang‭ ‬-‭ ‬1994.
Classification: Chordata,‭ ‬Reptilia,‭ ‬Dinosauria,‭ ‬Saurischia,‭ ‬Sauropodomorpha.
Species: J.‭ ‬xinwaensis‭ (‬type‭)‬.
Diet: Herbivore.
Size: About‭ ‬7.5‭ ‬meters long.
Known locations: China,‭ ‬Yunnan Province‭ ‬-‭ ‬Lufeng Formation,‭ ‬Shawan Member.
Time period: Hettangian of the Jurassic.
Fossil representation: Almost complete skeleton and skull.

       Jingshanosaurus is a genus of sauropodomorph dinosaur that lived in China during the Jurassic.‭ ‬However,‭ ‬there has been past speculation that Jingshanosaurus might be synonymous with another genus named Yunnanosaurus.‭ ‬Jingshanosaurus should not be confused with the similarly named titanosaur Jiangshanosaurus.
