Abdarainurus

Name: Abdarainurus ‭(‬Abdrant Nuru tail‭)‬.
Phonetic: Ab-dah-ray-nu-rus.
Named By: Alexander Averianov‭ & ‬Alexey Lopatin‭ ‬-‭ ‬2020.
Classification: Chordata,‭ ‬Dinosauria,‭ ‬Saurischia,‭ ‬Sauropoda,‭ ‬Titanosauria.
Species: A.‭ ‬barsboldi‭ (‬type‭)‬.
Diet: Herbivore.
Size: Unknown due to lack of remains.
Known locations: Mongolia‭ ‬-‭ ‬Alagteeg Formation.
Time period: Late Cretaceous.
Fossil representation: Several caudal‭ (‬tail‭) ‬vertebrae.




       Not much is known about the dinosaur Abdarainurus as the genus is based upon the description of several tail vertebrae.‭ ‬So far these vertebrae seem to be different to what are known in other late Cretaceous titanosaurs from Asia.
