       Originally named as a species of Iguanodon,‭ ‬Dakotadon is so far only known‭ ‬from a‭ ‬partial skull.‭ ‬Like other ornithopods,‭ ‬Dakotadon would have fed upon plants growing at varying heights,‭ ‬adjusting its stance and posture to reach.
