Size: Uncertain but holotype roughly estimated to have been about‭ ‬14‭ ‬centimetres long.
Known locations: China,‭ ‬Kinjiang‭ ‬-‭ ‬Shishugou Formation.
Time period: Late‭ ‬Jurassic.
Fossil representation: Partial post cranial remains.

       Shishugounykus is a genus of small alvareszaurid dinosaur that lived in Asia during the Jurassic.
