Fossil representation: Partial remains, mostly of jaws and teeth.
Originally named as Lisboasaurus mitracostatus, L. mitracostatus was renamed as Lusitanisuchus in 2004. Lusitanisuchus is a genus of crocodylomorph that lived in Portugal during the late Jurassic to early Cretaceous.
