Diet: Piscivore/Carnivore.
Size: Roughly about 7 meters long.
Known locations: Argentina.
Time period: Tithonian of the Jurassic.
Fossil representation: Partial remains.

       Described in‭ ‬1997,‭ ‬Caypullisaurus is classed as a member of the Platypterygiinae ichthyosaurs,‭ ‬with related genera including Aegirosaurus,‭ ‬Athabascasaurus,‭ ‬Platypterygius and Sveltonectes amongst others.
